Кирил и Методий –покровители на Европа

Още от първолачета всички знаем, че Кирил и Методий са създали нашата азбука и още от тогава сме научени да се възхищаваме от тяхното дело. Но осъзнаваме ли действително неговата сила и значението му?

Малко са например хората, които знаят, че светите братя са обявени за покровители на Европа през 1979 година от папа Йоан Павел ІІ. Не само ние, славяните, им дължим едно голямо „Благодаря”, но и цяла Европа. С написването на българо-славянската азбука обаче, съвсем не се изчерпва тяхното дело, защото те са началото на една велика революция.

Преди тази революция всички са могли да пишат единствено на три езика – еврейски, гръцки и латински. Светите братя възстават срещу триезичната норма, защитавайки тезата, че щом Бог ни е създал да говорим на различни езици с това ни е дал и правото да пишем на тях.

Тези две велики имена в историята ни – Кирил и Методий, сякаш остават недооценени днес. В съвременния свят, когато всеки забравя своите ценности, Европа също забравя за своите покровители. Братята са отстоявали различното, уникалното, а днес всеки бърза да уеднакви нещата, докато напълно загубят истинския си цвят.

Все пак, статуите от бял мрамор са създадени не за да ги отминаваме мълчаливо, а за да ни спрат и да ни напомнят за миналото, което сякаш е захвърлено като стара книга, която всеки иска да прочете, но все не му остава време за това.

Нашият език е едно богатство, към което ако се отнасяме нехайно, много лесно ще изгубим и ще осъзнаем колко сме бедни всъщност. За това всеки 24 май ни разказва отново и отново историята за двамата братя, които не случайно са обявени за поквовители на Европа. А на нас ни остава да се гордеем и да направим така, че ако те можеха да надникнат към нас от някое облаче в небето, да се усмихнат щастливо, че наистина са изпълнили своята мисия.

Since we were first grade,we all know,that Kiril and Metodii created our alphabet and from then we are learned to respect their creation.But do we really get its power and its meaning?
For example,there are significantly a few people,who know,that the brothers are protectors of Europe in 1979 year by pope Johan Pavel II.Not only we,the slavs,own them one big "thank you",but all the Europe.However,the bulgarian alphabet isn`t their only creation.They are the beginning of one great revolution.
And before that revolution all the people could write only in three languages-jewish,greek and latin.The Great brothers revolted against the three-language norm,protecting the proposition,that as soon as God created us to talk in different languages,he let us to write in them.
These two great names in our history-Kiril and Metodii ,as though keep not appreciated today.In the current world,when everyone forgets his worth,Europe also forgets its protectors.The brothers standed up the different,the unique,but today everyone wants tomake the things look the same,till they totally lose their color.
Though,the statues of white marble are created for us not to leave them behind with quiet,but to stop us,to let us remember the past,which looks like is outcasted like an old book,which everybody wants to read,but he never has the time to do it.
Our language is a wealth,but if we treat it careless,very easy we will lose it and we will realize how poor are we actually.That`s why every 24th of May tells us again and again the story of the two brothers,published as the protectors of Europe.We only have to be proud with them.And we have to do the things on that way,that if they could peep to us from some cloud on the sky,they would smile happily,because they made their mission here.

Ever since we were first grade we all know that Kiril and Methodii established our alphabet and since then we were thaught to admire their deed.But do we really realize its true power and meaning?

For example a few people know that in the 1979 the holy brothers were declared patrons of Europe by the pope Johan Pavel II(бел. прев. Johan Pavel the Second).Not only we, the slavians, but the whole Europe own them a big 'Thanks'.Their deed, though, doesn't run out at all with only the establishment of the builgarian-slavian alphabet because they are the beginning of a grat revolution.

Before this revolution all the people were able to write in only three languages - jewish, greek and latin.The holy brothers had stood against the three-language norm, protecting the thesis that when god created us to speak different languages he gave us the right to write in different laguages.

As though these two great names in our history - Kiril and Methodii aren't completely appraiseted today.In the modern world where everyone fogrets his values, Europe seems to had forgotten its patrons too.The brothers had defended the different, the unique and today everyone is in a hurry to equal the things untill they completely lose their true colour.

After all, the white-marbled monuments are not created to be shruged off, but to stop us and remind us about the past, which, as though, is thrown away like an old book, which everyone wants ot read, but nobody has the time to do so.

Our language is a tresure and if we apply to it with carelessness we can lose it very easily and then realize how poor we really are.For that reason every 24th of May reminds us again and again about the story of the two brothers, which aren't accidentally declared the patrons of Europe.And for us is left only to be proud and to do so, as like if they could peep at us through a little cloud in the sky, they would smile happily and know that they had fulfiled their mission.
