Bulgaria is a small country, located in Eastern Europe. It is famous with its great history. After so many battles and the slavery for 500 years, it continues its development. Bulgaria was a very big country (it was placed between the shores of three seas) when Tzar Simeon ruled the country. The age during his ruling is known by most people as "The Golden Age". This age is called as this, because that was the time when the first golden coins were made. Bulgaria was rulled by many Tzars and Khans. Soon it is going to be a part of the European Union. This is good, because Bulgaria will export many of its goods abroad and it will be a great opportunity to improve its economy.
