Fashioncore is a pejorative term used for bands/musicians viewed as non-substantial or derided post-hardcore or metalcore musicians and their fans. As is usually the case with condescension in subcultures, it is often used by veterans of a particular scene, in this case, the post-hardcore/metalcore one.
