Forgot your user ID or password?

If you forgot your user ID, visit the Forgot your user ID? page to retrieve it.
If you forgot your password, you can create a new one from the Confirm your identity to reset your password page to retrieve it. Note that your old password will remain active until you create a new password.
Unable to reset your password?

If you think your account has been used without your permission and you can't sign in or reset your password, contact us immediately:

Click Customer Support at the top of most eBay pages.
On the next page, click the Contact us button. You may be asked to sign in. If you can't sign in, click the I'm a guest button.
Place your pointer over Account, and then select Unauthorized use of my account.
Contact us using one of the options at the bottom of the page.
We can help you change your password and stop any unauthorized activity on your account.

For security purposes, your password is automatically encrypted when you sign in using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
