The children screamed/were screaming when the lightning bolt struck/was striking a tree in their garden.
George was burning/burnt his hand while he was cooking/cooked lunch.
The group was skiing/skied down the slope when an avalanche was occuring/occurred.
The tornado was hitting/hit the city and destroyed/was destroying many buildings.
Mark was breaking/broke his leg while he played/was playing football with his friends.
When they saw/were seeing the snake,they were starting/started to run.
Samantha wrote/was writing a letter when the lights were going out/went out.
Jason was twisting/twisted his ankle while he ran/was running on the sand.
Jamie worked/was working on her computer when the phone rang/was ringing.

Last night,there.......(be) a major car accident on the MI motorway.A car ....... (smash) into a truck.Fortunately,everybody.......(be) Ok.The driver.........(tell) us that as he a deer that .............(run) towards his car.He........(try) to avoid the animal,but he......(lose) to avoid the animal,but he........(lose) control of the car.The car.....(spin) round and round until it.....(crash) into a truck that.......(be) by the side of the road.Nobody knows where the deer.......(go) or if it's alive.It just.......(disappear)


((ще ми обясните ли и как се правят :< че не го хващам.

Last night,there was a major car accident on the MI motorway.A car smashed into a truck.Fortunately,everybody is Ok.The driver told us that as he a deer that тука нещо не е написано цялото изречение май, was running towards his car.He tried to avoid the animal,but he lost control of the car.The car was spinning round and round until it crashed into a truck that was by the side of the road.Nobody knows where the deer went or if it's alive.It just disappeared


((ще ми обясните ли и как се правят :< че не го хващам.

Някой друг да го обяснява обаче, че мен не ме бива.Общо взето преценяваш кое действие е по - продължително и кое става за секунди. О.о Като например: Четях книга, когато токът спря.

да така е например they were watcing tv when the earthquake happened "were watching" защото това е продължително действие а земетресението е станала на момента не е продължавало например: I was reading a book when my mother came аз съм си четяла книга, когато майка ми влезе паст симпъл е защото тя не е продължавала да влиза и когато имаш when след него винаги е паст симпъл а след while/as е past continuous дано да съм помогнала

Едното действие (past continuous) е прекъснато от друго действие (past simple). Къде е сложното?

Чудя се на тези, които не разбират английския .. И на мене това ми беше трудно в 5-6 клас.. Нищо, че сега и аз съм 8 и уча тва пак ;д

((ще ми обясните ли и как се правят :< че не го хващам.

лол ами аз досега не съм учила английски, но в момента уча същото на френски. понякога имаш думи, които ти изясняват ситуацията, а и даже като си преведеш изречението и поставяш глагола в конкретното време.
- няма как земетресението да се случва, докато те гледат телевизия. действието е еднократно.
- the coast yesterday morning. - няма как цунамито още от вчера сутринта да "удря/не знам как се превежда с точност" крайбрежието чак до сега. xDD

past continuous - минало продължително, продължително действие извършено в миналото. Образува се с формите на глагола ''съм'' (i am, you are, he/she/is it, we are they are you are) в минало време (am/it = was/ are=were) и ing след основния глагол. Четох книга - i was reading a book.
past simple - минало просто време, действие с малка продължителност. Образува се с ''ed'' в края, за да стане в минало време. waited, wanted. I tried to help him. (try-tried)

Ами значи използва се, когато някакво действие(извършващо се в момента на говорене) бъде прекъснато от друго действие...
Примерно:
they watched/were watcing tv when the earthquake happened/was happening. - were watcing; happened
Докато те са гледали телевизия е станало земетресение, те вършат нещо и изведнъж се случва нещо друго...
